Dead by dawn (Thursday)

Okay, was at the opening of dead by dawn last night, the Edinburgh horror festival. Starting about 11 and ending about 1:30, i was lucky to stay awake as it was. This does not bode well for the all-nighter on Saturday. We saw two movies, one a short, one featured length, both pretty good.

Les Moreux (little Brats)

Every day, hundreds of times over, a man has to listen tot he angelic chirpings of the Little Choristers. It’s enough to drive anyone insane. Happily, he’s already halfway there and sets about regaining some peace and quiet, albeit the quick and messy way.

It’s only 7 minutes long, but is absolutely crammed with dark humour. Don’t worry if you can’t speak French, there’s no talking in it.

Mulberry Street
A fantastic twist on the zombie horror movie. Don’t want to say too much about it because it would let slip the plot, but if you get a chance to see it then it’s worth a watch.
