This genuinely just arrived in my email. It is awesome.
Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing to tell you about my journey to Japan to find the last living Ninja grand master. Over the last 6 years I have been studying the art of the Ninja. Its a journey that has taken me all over the world and really has tested me to my limits. The word Ninja instantly brings to mind the image of a martial arts master in a black suit that uses silent cunning and exotic weapons to
assassinate his opponents. A master of a secret art that allows him to turn invisible, read minds and even control the very forces of nature.
This image is so powerful that in the West our entire culture is infiltrated with the Ninja. They appear in our films, songs, cartoons, comic books and novels in a myriad of forms and countless guises. Batman was trained as Ninja, James Bond has a Ninja arch enemy, but there is more to this legend than black suits, teenage mutant turtles and throwing stars.
My interest in martial arts started at a very young age when my mother took him to learn Kuk Sool Won at the Norwich oriental arts center . I went on to become both a black belt and to win gold medals at the UK championships. I was also the Norfolk fencing champion. But for there was always something missing. I have alway loved martial arts but never really felt at home with the arts I had already studied. When I turned 26 I knew I had to do something to find my true calling. It was now or never. I have recorded my recorded his adventures in a book to be published by Ian Allan Publishing on the 20th of October. The book records my tuition under the Dali Lamas bodyguard and the story behind my Ninja training with the last living Ninja grand master in Japan.
Its not however all high kicks and flips. Yes real Ninja do use swords and throwing stars but Ninjutsu is more in the mind that the body. The ancient ninja used to practice meditation and perform all sorts of feats to learn to master themselves. One such test involves learning to stand under a freezing cold waterfall in the middle of winter and to remain calm through the freezing cold and the massive weight of the water beating down on you. The most important think I have tried to do is prove that these skill do really work. Here is for example a video of me taking part in a tv production for sky showing that I am in fact as silent at the greatest living stealth hunter a Jaguar.
Do look at the other videos on my channel for throwing stars and other Ninja skills.
